Our Pre-K classes are organizing a Christmas service project for children battling cancer at Cohen Children's Medical Center and the Cancer Center for Kids at NYU Winthrop Hospital. Please consider sending in: 1) a craft, 2) a toy, or 3) toiletries. All donations MUST be in original packaging for the safety of the children who will receive them. Bishop Barres is celebrating mass for mothers and families on the Feast of St. Gianna. Saint Gianna Beretta Molla is a 20th century saint. She is the patron saint of mothers, physicians, families and unborn children. The mass will be celebrated on Saturday, April 28, at 5 pm in St. Agnes Cathedral in Rockville Centre. Louie's Pizzeria (around the corner from Barnes & Noble) will donate 15% of your check to our school if you dine there on Friday, June 1 between the hours of 5 and 9:30 pm. Dine there before, after (or during) the Barnes & Noble Book Fair. Please present the attached flyer in order for our school to receive the donation. Your favorite Drama Club members perform popular numbers from Funny Girl to Dear Evan Hansen on Friday, June 7. The show begins at 6:00 pm, followed by a BBQ dinner. A donation of $5 each for non-members is requested to support the Drama Club program. Thanks for your support!

The next big event for the Centennial Celebration is the Fun Run for Kids, 5K Run/Walk, and the Homecoming for all alumni, students, parents and friends.  

The Fun Run for children is taking place in the Water District park across St. Brigid's Lane beginning at 8:30 am.  The 5K Run/Walk begins at 9 am.  The Reunion begins at 10 am in Msgr. Code Auditorium.  There will be food to enjoy, a bouncy house for the kids, and the Hollyrock Game Show for old times' sake.

The Christmas Boutique is coming to our school. Children (and adults) can shop during the Breakfast With Santa on Sunday, December 16. Children will be able to shop during the school day on Monday, December 17. A flyer and envelope to send shopping money in to school will be coming home shortly via kiddie mail.

Bishop John O. Barres will be celebrating mass in honor of St. Agnes, the Patroness of our Diocese. The mass is taking place at St. Agnes Cathedral on Saturday, January 19 at 5 pm. All are invited to attend. If you are able to represent our school at the liturgy, please email Mr. Clagnaz. The Cathedral is located at 29 Quealy Place, Rockville Centre

The StB/OLH Drama Club presents Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella on Friday, April 5 and Saturday, April 6 on the stage in Monsignor Code Auditorium. Tickets are reserved and sold on a first come, first served basis. You can still purchase tickets at the door. Curtain time is 7:30 pm on Friday and 2 pm on Saturday.

The Student Council is hosting a Family BINGO Night on Friday, May 17 in Monsignor Code Auditorium. Doors open at 6:30 PM for hot dogs, snacks and drinks. BINGO begins at 7 PM. Admission is $5 which includes one BINGO card. Students must be accompanied by an adult. There will be prizes and raffles. Proceeds benefit the Knights Athletic Program and Dollars for Scholars.

Clean out your closets and bring in old sneakers and other footwear that you no longer use. Wearable sneakers will be redistributed to other parts of the world. Nearly 300 million adults and children around the world go barefoot. In the US, we throw away 300 million pair of sneakers each year. They take 30 years to decompose in landfills.
