The Diocese of Rockville Centre is planning a Eucharistic Congress, a family-friendly event filled with prayer, music, and engaging talks. Join Bishop Barres and families from across Long Island as we celebrate Pentecost Sunday with Eucharistic joy. From Mass and Adoration to witness talks, this day invites every person of all ages to grow closer to Jesus in the Eucharist. The Congress will take place at St. Anthony's High School. Tomorrow's Hope Foundation Scholarship Application

Tomorrow's Hope Foundation provides tuition assistance to applicants who have children entering Kindergarten through 8th grade. Anyone in need of tuition assistance is welcome to apply for an award. Awards are granted on a first come first served basis. Application deadline is April 30. Award amounts are based on financial need. Applications are processed trough FACTS Tuition Management. Catholic Schools Week is a busy time at school. There are many activities and celebrations that take place during the week. A crew from the Catholic Faith Network visited when we had a visit from Danielle Campbell, the director of communications and development for Catholic Charities of Long Island. After she explained some of the work that CCLI does, seniors from two of CCLI senior centers came for lunch and an afternoon of activities. This delightful video was shown on CFN Live. The Aquinas Program

They spend the year on research and creating a presentation for the Aquinas Expo. Many Catholic Schools from the Diocese participate. This video shows one of the projects that the students worked on. Breakfast With Santa

Our Breakfast With Santa is on Sunday, December 15. We begin with the Family Mass at 9:15 am in the School Chapel. Breakfast is served in Msgr. Code Auditorium following the Mass. Blessing of the Bambinelli

Join us on December 15 for Bambinelli Sunday. Children are invited to bring the baby Jesus figure from your Nativity scene for a special blessing. The blessing will take place at the 9:15 am Family Mass in the School Chapel. Bambinelli means "little babies" in Italian. This is a Roman tradition that we celebrate here at St. Brigid's.

The day begins with liturgy at 10:15 am in the School Chapel followed by student entertainment and luncheon with turkey and all the trimmings in Café Code. Please join us! 7th Annual - 5K Run

The 7th annual 5K can be run in-person or virtually! The in-person date is Saturday morning, November 30, 2024. The Run/Walk begins at 9 am. The route is through the streets of our beautiful Village of Westbury. The Fun Run for Kids is from 8:30 am until 9 am. Enjoy fun activities and fellowship when you return to school. Feast of St. Francis

On Friday, October 4, we will celebrate the Feast of St. Francis with a service project and by blessing our pets. The Nursery and Pre-K classes are conducting a service project for local animal shelters. They are asking for donations of toys, treats, towels and blankets. Please send these items to school before Friday, October 4.

Our families are invited to bring their family pets to the traditional Blessing of the Animals beginning at 2:15 pm on October 4. We will gather by the Prayer Labyrinth for a prayer service and blessing. Please fill out the attached Google Form so we know how many 4, 6 and 8 legged friends to expect.

Test for Admission into Catholic High School - Prep Course

Our prep course is a great way for eighth graders to become more comfortable with the format of the test, the type of questions asked, and to review content. Classes are offered in Math and English Language Arts. They will be offered in-person at the school. Classes begin on Saturday, September 21 and run through November 2. The TACHS test will be given on Saturday, November 9. It will be administered online from home. Click on this link to register. Information about the TACHS exam can be found at this site.

Super Sports - Grades Pre-K through 5

Super Sports is an after school program. Sessions take place on Friday afternoons beginning September 20. There are two groups, children in Pre-K through grade 3, and a second group for children in grades 3 through 5. The registration form is attached.
