Cell phones (smart watches or other wearable computers, etc.) may be kept in a student's back pack or on their person.  They may not be used during the school day for any reason (lunch/recess included).  If they are found to be in use for calling, taking photos or videos, and/or texting, the cell phone will be taken from the student, and parents/caregivers will be notified that the device may be picked up in the principal's office.  Cell phones are brought to school at your own risk.  The school is not responsible for loss or damage to these items.
