Dance Program

Dance Program for Nursery and Pre-K:Ìý Our dance teacher, Mrs. Nelson, will offer creative dance lessons for Nursery and Pre-K students.Ìý This lesson will take place on Tuesdays from 11:15 to 11:50 AM.Ìý Lessons are $35 per month.Ìý Girls need pink ballet slippers and black or white tap shoes.Ìý Boys need black ballet slippers and black tap shoes.Ìý If you’re interested, please fill out the attached flier.Ìý Lessons will begin on Tuesday, October 11.

Dance for all Other Grades:ÌýÌýDance lessons begin on Tuesday, October 11.Ìý Students will be grouped by age and ability.Ìý Mrs. Nelson will let everyone know the time of the class once she receives all the registration forms.ÌýÌýClass spaces are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Please return the online form (link below) to register. ÌýSend inÌýthe first month’s paymentÌýby September 23. ÌýWrite 'Dance' on the envelope as well as your child's name and class. Ìý

In addition, dancers need the following for lessons:

Kindergarten, grades 1, 2, and 3 (ballet and tap):ÌýÌýBlack leotards and both pink ballet shoes and black or white tap shoes for girls.Ìý Boys wear gym uniforms and need black ballet slippers and black tap shoes.Ìý

Grades 4 and 5 (jazz):ÌýÌýBlack leotards and black jazz shoes for girls.Ìý Boys wear gym uniforms and need black jazz shoes.Ìý

Grades 6, 7, and 8 (jazz):Ìý Black leotards and black jazz shoes for girls.Ìý Boys wear gym uniforms and need black jazz shoes.ÌýÌý

The price for dance lessons is $40 per month, payable on the first lesson of every month. ÌýSince the fee is so low already, it will be the same regardless of how many weeks are in the month, and is not refundable in the event of absence or withdrawal.ÌýMake checks out to St. Brigid/OLH School.Ìý Please write ‘Dance’ on the envelope as well as your child’s name and class.Ìý If the fee is not paid by the third week of the month, your child may not be permitted to attend dance class.Ìý If there are any questions regarding dance lessons, please call Mrs. Nelson at (516) 333-0580.
